About Us!

What is the church supposed to look like? That's the question we began to ask ourselves as we prayerfully considered starting The Remnant Church. We live in confusing times. The world seems to get more and more lost, and the church seems, in many ways to have lost it's way. No matter what church you find yourself in, from the large mega church to the small house church, there are certain character traits that will tell you if you are in a healthy one. There will be an intense focus on the word of God! The worship songs will be biblical. The Bible Studies will desire to see that we grow in our understanding of God's purpose for you and the church. The preaching will not be based on personality, but on the verse by verse understanding of God's word, and how to walk in it every day. Again, the church will be intensely focused on the word of God; not the word of man! The church will not be a place for entertainment. It will be a place where people who love God gather to strengthen one another. It's a group of people united by their love for God, and the mission He has put in their hearts! You are the church; not a building! The Remnant Church was conceived on the idea that while mainstream Christianity tries to blend into the world, there always remains a remnant of people that desire the heart of God over the trends of culture. No flash. No huge overhead. Just people gathering to grow, and go into all the world preaching the Gospel. We are The Remnant Church!
